Request for Proposals (RFP) Release and Program Design

Level Up Impact Group works with funders to support grant releases, including RFP development. Since our founding in 2020, we have supported funders in releasing over $43 million in grant opportunities. We provide comprehensive support for funding initiatives of all sizes, from collecting input on grant opportunities before they are released, to writing and design, to drafting reviewer guidelines and grant award selection criteria. We also support funders in their capacity building efforts to improve their funding strategy.


Evaluation

Level Up Impact Group has led and developed evaluations for large and small organizations, spanning countywide youth development initiatives, grassroot efforts, and volunteer-led projects. From establishing outcomes for grant applications to developing comprehensive data collection and evaluation models for multi-year and community-wide initiatives, we work with organizations to accurately collect information and analyze results that translate into actionable outcomes. Capacity Building and Training

Capacity building is an investment in the efficacy and long-term sustainability of an organization. Research shows that organizations benefit significantly when they work alongside peers who have similar needs and are at similar stages of development. This allows organizations to benchmark themselves against others and identify opportunity gaps to drive their own growth. Our capacity building and training services include:

  • One-one coaching with leadership to identify opportunities for organizational growth.

  • Custom trainings to meet organizational needs such as fundraising, evaluation, and professional development.

  • Development and implementation of an organizational self-assessment and actionable capacity-building plan(s).

The Children’s Trust of Alachua County
RFP & Program Design | Evaluation | Capacity Building & Training

We partnered with The Children’s Trust of Alachua County (CTAC) to provide strategic direction, evaluation, and capacity building support for their grant portfolio valued at approximately $8.5 million. CTAC hired Level Up Impact Group to develop their processes and infrastructure for grant making, including RFP development and dissemination; data collection and evaluation; and identifying key areas in Alachua County where CTAC’s funding would make the most impact in improving the lives of children through use of community needs assessments.

Based on our recommendations, CTAC moved from a single-year funding cycle to a three-year funding cycle and has adopted a continuous improvement model for their grantees. We continue to support their work as they grow as a funder, learn, adapt, and act responsively to the communities they serve.

The Miami Foundation
RFP & Program Design | Evaluation

Level Up Impact Group worked with the Miami Connected Initiative to develop the Digital Equity funding strategy for the Miami Foundation. This work included research, data and feedback collection, and evaluation of their existing program model. Our work on this funding initiative resulted in the successful release of a $1 million RFP in Spring 2022 that sought to provide internet connectivity and digital navigation resources to historically marginalized communities throughout Miami-Dade County.

Caridad Center
Evaluation
Level Up Impact Group provided a robust analysis and in-depth evaluation of the impact of a multi-year grant received by our client, Caridad Center, from the State of Florida’s Office of Minority Health “Closing the Gap” initiative. We designed and developed a final report based on our research and evaluation that demonstrated the short and long-term impact on patients who benefit from this cornerstone program to increase health care access to minority populations in Palm Beach County.
